Greetings to Everyone! Spring is in the air, and we have so many things happening in the month of March. On March 21st we have our in-person Reflections Ceremony and we are so excited we are back to having this great celebration held in person! Thank You to the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts for letting us hold this event in their auditorium! If you have not taken advantage of Florida PTA’s Road to Success Wednesdays, I encourage you to do so. They offer many great learning opportunities in these sessions, especially things you can take back to your school and PTA. DCCPTA will be doing a Diaper Drive to help those on Florida’s West Coast that suffered a great amount of loss due to the recent hurricanes. We will be collecting for Newborn to Toddler size diapers and pull-ups to ship over to help many families who are in desperate need of these. We will have a collection box located at the back of the Cline Auditorium at our January 24th general meeting. Thank you in advance for helping DCCPTA with this project.
READ MORE →Welcome back to all our Local Units for the 2022-2023 School Year. I am excited about our new year, and we have so many PTA/PTSA’s that are re-starting. We have a phenomenal DCCPTA Board this year and we are off to a great start with having our first board meeting in person since Covid. I have had a very busy summer attending the National PTA Convention and Hill Day in Virginia this past June as well attended the Florida PTA Convention in Orlando, Florida. The DCCPTA delegates that attended the convention did an outstanding job representing Duval County and I was so proud of each of them. The date for the 2023 Florida PTA Convention is July 13th – 16th
