Synthetics in our State
For many years, and in most states, the makers of synthetic drugs have been able to stay a step ahead of our laws by simply changing the compound. Synthetic drugs come in all sizes and shapes….pretending to be like prescribed pain killers, called “marijuana” (which they are not), masked as helpful or promising to provide a terrific high with no legal ramifications…
But synthetic drugs are killing Floridians. In Broward County alone, over 60 people have lost their lives over the last six months due to these deadly drugs.
Please come learn about an alteration in Florida’s law that could change the game for manufacturers, and provide a clear line-in-the-sand regarding legal and illegal drugs.
Presented by brilliant Shannon MacGillis, NF HIDTA Initiative Commander and Special Counsel to Office of Statewide Prosecution, Florida Attorney General, this will be a compelling look at our law present and potential, and the impact on the LIVES of Floridans.

By sharing my story, I have the ability to give a clear picture of how the prevalent epidemic of educator sexual abuse begins, progresses, and affects so many innocent lives. I want to shed light on the dynamics of educator sexual abuse so schools can be safe havens for every child.”
