Great PTA Program Ideas

PTAs provide programs to help round out the educational experience of all children and educate and inform our families and communities.

  • Health and Safety Fair
  • Art Night – display student art
  • Family Fitness Day
  • Donuts with Dads
  • Muffins/Lunch with Moms
  • Goodies with Grandparents
  • Financial Literacy Event – find a local expert or Junior Achievement volunteer
  • School Community Garden – help students learn about growing their own fruits & veggies
  • Reflections Art Contest – email Reflections@dccpta.org with any questions
  • Walk or Run for Fun – have a run or walk on your track not to raise funds but for FUN
  • Kickball/ four square tournament
  • Science Night – host an evening of fun experiments
  • Astronomy Night – put down some blankets, borrow telescopes, print star charts
  • Math Night – make math fun
  • An evening/afternoon of creativity – ask a local instructor if they will donate their time
  • Talent Show
  • Movie Night
  • Career Fair
  • Guest speakers – There are many organizations here in Jacksonville that will come to your school
